Amelia....our latest angel

This girl was just loving the attention. Here is her Christmas picture:
...and here at Baby Harvest....
Amelia showing her wild side....
Finally, the princess sleeps after a long photoshoot....(check out her smile!)
We hope to see you again Amelia. Both you and your whole family are welcome anytime!
Amaris

Almost new...the family couldn't get there schedules to line up for newborn pics, but better later than never. Amaris is a beautiful baby...and Dad couldn't have been prouder!
Mom looks pretty happy too! We are going to try to get Amaris back in the studio when she can sit up.
Jailyn

This girl has model written all over her cute little face. As a matter of fact some of her pics are to be entered into BabyGap. Jailyn loved to run and play, but really loves to get her picture taken - with a little coaxing from Dad...

We can't wait until our next session with Jailyn! Thanks Jailyn!
Cindle's Second Visit...

I have to say that we hope this becomes a habit. Cindle is so precious. Her Dad joined us this time.
....and we tried on some new outfits....
...and took some Christmas pictures...
What a cutie!

More of this past few weeks...

Ok...I am going to just apologize up front for the spelling of these two beautiful girls that follow these next two sentences. I am almost 89% sure that I am wrong, and my wife isn't here to tell me that I am wrong, so I will have to change it later....again, <sorry ladies.>
Here is Kassie. She came with her family, including her sister, (next few pictures), and we had a great time walking around town and taking pictures. The dresses were donated by My Sister's Closet across the street.
This little ball of fire is Gabi. What a personality. Just look at that look. She could be a model. Her energy level is about normal for her age, as she ran around alot, but when it came time to take a picture, she was almost always ready.

These were part of the Tea Party scene we have here at Lawler Studios. Gabi had a great time with the dress-up!
Be sure to call, text or email us today for
an appointment!

Aidan

Aidan and his mom Telisha stopped by the studio this afternoon and we all had a great time. Aidan is quite the little talker! He is both an intelligent and inquisitive four year old. I was really impressed with how easy he was to talk to and work with. Here are a few of the photographs from his session:

We hope that we will see this little einstein again soon. His mom promised a family photograph!
Thanks Aidan!
Little Cindle - 5 weeks old

We really enjoyed Cindle and her mom, Jessica visiting us in the studio. We are looking forward to photographing Cindle and her family in the future. Cindle had an upset tummy yet gave us some of the cutest photos in her session - what a little trooper! Thank you Cindle from both Amy and myself. We hope you feel better.
By Request...

I've had several friends and loved ones (and you too Jessie), that live far away ask what the studio looked like and we have been sooo busy lately trying to remodel, pay for stuff, market, etc that I haven't been faithful to our BLAWG. For that I am sorry. I will try to do better from this moment on. Here is a few pics of the store front:

We have had a few new clients that I will post soon. More to come! Stay tuned.

We made it. We are now fully in Clinton!

I don't ever want to move that much stuff ever again. Robbie, Cindy, Amy and myself are very tired, but happy to finally be here just the same. Now the unpacking and remodeling jobs ahead. And I never realized how much a supermarket can mean to a city until I went to F.C. -Everyone shops there! We already miss our friends in Huntsville, but we already have started new friendships here in Clinton as well.
If anyone would like to donate any old doors and old wooden shutters to the studio, we would be so thankful! We really love being on Market Street right in the middle of such a historic city. We can't wait to begin photographing this great backdrop of downtown Clinton.

This is it....we are coming Tennessee!

Just said goodbye to our old jobs :( Closed out everything. had a yardsale, and got a truck.
Now loading the truck and collapsing late tonight and leaving tomorrow afternoon is the plan.
Moving stinks. I would rather it just all burn up, get the insurance and head out. (If you are with the insurance company and reading this, that was just a joke).
Alabama heat is killer as well. I read where someone here actually fried eggs on his dashboard, and baked biscuits in the trunk of his car.
Oh, well....back to work.

One more week of wrapping and packing….

I hate moving. I literally hate moving. I know people who sell their houses with all their stuff in them just so they won’t have to move it. I want to be like that. Not gonna happen. Our house looks like a box warehouse now. This weekend will be my last at my present studio before moving all our stuff to Clinton, TN. I am excited about having our studio in Clinton, but soo much to do. After we move, unpack, and store, then the fun begins: painting, hanging, fixing, hammering, etc. Oh, well. It is going to be a great ride! Gotta go pack some more – we’ll keep you updated.

Lawler Studios now has a storefront in Clinton, Tennessee!

I can’t believe everything fell into place the way it has! If you were to ask me a couple of months ago if we were to open a studio in this area, I would’ve thought you crazy! That is until I walked around the town and met the people. What a great town this is! First time we visited a church here we met the mayor. Now we met the city council. It only took me one afternoon of walking around this town to realize that Clinton Tennessee is where I want to call my home. My wife and I are from Huntsville, Alabama and her Mom is living right here in Clinton. How my wife, Amy and I met is a story for another time, but everytime we come to visit, I am in awe of the beauty of this city. It truly is a pearl. (no pun intended).
The studio is going to be located right on Market Street in the old Sugar and Spice Building. The address is 369 Market Street, Clinton, TN 37716. We should be getting underway in remodeling sometime in August. The reason is we are closing up our jobs in Huntsville, AL and we cannot leave until the busy season is ended. Right now the studio we are leaving is finishing up Senior Season. I would’ve rather start our studio before Senior Season, but that’s just the way God worked it out. It seemed like doors just kept opening here and closing in Huntsville, so although I am hard headed most of the time, I don’t want to miss out on a blessing.
We are a full service photography/graphic art studio producing portraits for high school seniors, individuals, families, babies, pets, maternity, engagement, wedding, commercial and corporate, and a graphic arts department to provide any graphics, logos, corporate image that is needed.
People say that we are crazy to open a business in this economy. I say God owns the economy. I also say that time waits for no man - no wait, I didn’t say that someone else did – what I mean is that opportunity knocks only so often in your life, and if you don’t answer, then someone else gets it. Amy and I want to be a blessing and and asset to this part of Tennessee and all the great people in it. Thank you all for the opportunity to be a part of this community and great state. Great things are heading our way!
